Our digital marketing agency is looking for a Freelance Video Editor to help create video edits for our ongoing clients. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can create professional content quickly with an emphasis on documentary-style editing.
We’re a small agency so this position will have a tremendous amount of responsibility and opportunity for growth. We are looking for a driven, independent, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can spearhead our projects effectively.
Expertise & Experience
- 2+ years of experience editing video content for digital placements
- Experience with Premiere Pro
- Extra points for After Effects
- Experience working with all levels of raw footage to create impactful video content
- Experience with documentary / long-form content (large libraries and storytelling)
- Experience with simple 2D motion graphics and titles
- Experience with tight deadlines and quick-turn projects
- Experience organizing project files for multiple contributors
- Experience juggling multiple projects at once
- Experience working with edits for YouTube, social media, and more
- Knowledge and experience in Productivity Software (Google Docs, Google Sheets)
Responsibilities
- Create 2-3 video edits (short and long-form) per week
- Tell the most compelling story possible with provided footage
- Work closely with Sproutbox Lead Video Editor on upcoming projects, timelines, and client feedback
- Occasionally edit at the Sproutbox office for efficiency
- Keep project files organized

Logistics

- Pay: $40-$60/hr DOE
- Location: Portland, OR (hybrid)
