Job Description

Calling all videographers, cinematographers, and DPs — we’re hiring a full-time, Portland-based Photo & Video Creator to support our photo and video production efforts.

In this role, you will conduct photo and video shoots for ongoing clients, including brand videos, social media content, product shoots, and advertising campaigns. You’ll work closely with our creative team to plan shoots, lead production on set, and ensure a high level of visual quality across all projects.

We’re looking for a well-rounded creative who can produce high-quality photography assets alongside video deliverables.

We’re a small agency, so this role comes with a large amount of creative ownership and responsibility. We’re looking for someone who is independent, collaborative, and excited to help elevate the production quality of our work.

Expertise & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience editing video content for digital placements
  • Experience with Premiere Pro
  • Extra points for After Effects
  • Experience working with all levels of raw footage to create impactful video content
  • Experience with documentary / long-form content (large libraries and storytelling)
  • Experience with simple 2D motion graphics and titles
  • Experience with tight deadlines and quick-turn projects
  • Experience organizing project files for multiple contributors
  • Experience juggling multiple projects at once
  • Experience working with edits for YouTube, social media, and more
  • Knowledge and experience in Productivity Software (Google Docs, Google Sheets)

Responsibilities

  • Attend in-office working times of M/W/F mornings
  • Plan and execute photo and video shoots including lighting, camera setups, and shot composition
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop shot lists, visual direction, and production plans
  • Operate cinema and photography cameras during shoots
  • Direct on-set production including camera, lighting, and talent
  • Capture brand photography, product photography, lifestyle imagery, and marketing visuals
  • Comfortable traveling for shoots (2-3 days per month)
  • Experience working with agency-owned audio, camera, and lighting gear.
  • Maintain and manage camera, lighting, and production equipment
  • Work with editors and designers to ensure assets align with the creative vision
  • Help develop visual approaches for social media, advertising campaigns, and brand storytelling
  • Organize and deliver photo and video assets after shoots
  • Participate in internal planning meetings and project discussions
  • Stay up to date with production techniques, gear, and visual trends
