There are four main components of this job:

- Overseeing strategy and performance for the SEO team and meeting with clients consistently
- Running and growing ongoing GEO (AI Search) accounts
- Leading Marketing Strategy as a service for 2-3 clients with heavy involvement in high-level conversations and tactical support
Expertise & Experience
As the leader of our search and PPC clients, we expect the Senior Growth Strategist to have a deep understanding of the backend of Google platforms, be able to translate reports into meaningful insights during client meetings, and not be afraid to adjust campaigns themselves as needed.

- Hands-on experience building and optimizing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max.
- Strong SEO foundation with working knowledge of GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI search visibility strategies.
- Ability to lead clients through strategic decision making live.
- Ability to build and oversee full-funnel marketing strategies that connect paid, organic, and owned channels.
- Confidence in jumping into a variety of channels or platforms in order to push marketing forward (Mailchimp, Meta, GA4, etc.)
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a global perspective.
- Expert at analyzing performance data to drive measurable optimizations and strategic pivots.
- Supporting opportunistic growth initiatives that help clients move faster outside of traditional channel silos.
- Extensive experience presenting complex strategies and high-level insights directly to business stakeholders.
- Skilled at guiding creative teams to ensure all assets align with campaign goals.
Responsibilities
- Attend in-office working times of M/W/F mornings.
- Meet with clients weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to discuss goals and results for SEO, PPC, and/or GEO.
- Meet with Partners and leads to research industry, keywords, and goals before presenting the best path forward.
- Execute small marketing initiatives for clients including email, event planning, communication strategies, and guerrilla-style marketing campaigns. Meet with a variety of clients and push marketing forward in face-to-face contexts.
- Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads accounts across Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns.
- Lead SEO strategy for client accounts.
- Drive GEO and AI search visibility initiatives.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans that dictate the direction of search efforts.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews to report on campaign ROI and identify necessary strategic shifts.

- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry shifts to keep clients competitive.
